Gil gave up a couple of early runs, but was good overall. 2 of those runs didn't fall on him. Last 4 outings combined 21.1IP 15H 4R 10BB 22K. The young man has been solid since coming back from the IL. He's been more good than bad overall. I remember earlier this season he had to work on his command and he's improved in the area. He still has more to improve on, but the future is bright for this kid in the Bronx for years to come. He's got my vote for being #3 in the playoff rotation.

Whose #4?

@@thespicycabbage It's wishful thinking on my part. He'll be #4. Nestor will be #3.

My dear, translate. Please translate the right words. Gils thanked God for the opportunity that he is giving him to be in the position that he is right now. If you don't thank God yourself, at least translate it to the fans and the whole world that follows baseball. God should be number one, like Gils is doing it.

This translator does not like to say the thanks that baseball players give to God for the positions that God has them in. The translator changes the words and does not mention God at all. This is very wrong on the part of this translator. All Glory and all Honor should be given to God as this young baseball player is doing. May God have mercy on this translator for not wanting to honor God even in translation for another.

Because it really doesn't matter, does it? Gil didn't even say God.
