Santiago Bisso, I read a few years ago that he actually found her when he was an adult. She was in a mental Hospital. He took her home and lived with him until her passing in 2013 I believe. I tried to find the article again, but I haven't been able to. Wish I could confirm that info, but at the time I read it, it had the sound of truth to me.

So a few things. Yes Luis Miguel was always tanned. He’s been on the business for about 40 years! He is amazing. Regarding his hair, he used to purposely pull it up with his hands and it always looked messy. He doesn’t do that now because now he wears a lot of gel. Yes Luis Miguel came before Ricky. And it’s interesting you say he signs like an abandoned child because his mother went missing at his teenage years and I think still now nobody knows where she is :(

He has sung in English, Italian and Portuguese. I wouldn't say that singing in English is selling out, but rather taking the short cut to international stardom. He did receive platinum in the USA for his album Romance and didn't need to sing in English though. He sells a lot in Eastern Europe, Asia, Middle East, Italy.. He has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and he is currently on tour packing stadiums in Latin America, USA and soon in Spain, after a 4 year hiatus.

Y'all should do a little homework before you make your videos. Luis Miguel has sung in numerous languages including English. He lives in LA, his two younger kids were born here, his eldest daughter lives here with him. He's the youngest artist to win a Grammy at age 14 for a duet he did with Sheena Easton. He was the first singer who had Spanish songs make the top 40, not the Spanish top 40, but the normal US Billboard top 40. He's collaborated with Sinatra and Michael Jackson. He has nothing against singing in English, he just never needed to market himself as a crossover artist.

I dont think that his decision to not ever record an album in english(which he can speak) had anything to do with selling out or not wanting to share his talent with the rest of the world. Maybe he just never had the need to, or felt like he had to cross over, and i can understand and respect that.
