nice tutorial series. Just wanted to point out you say to put the scoreLabel variable at 1:03 into Scene1 but I believe it should be Scene2 as the code image displays Scene2.js

1:56 That whole block of code isn't nessisary for a black rectangle. Instead try: var graphics = this.add.graphics(); graphics.fillStyle("Black"); graphics.fillRect(0,0,config.width,20);

maybe something has changed from Phaser but I get an error running your exercise that I downloaded. Cannot read property 'data' of undefined This happened after adding in the line of code this.scoreLabel = this.add.bitmapText(10, 5, "pixelFont", "SCORE ", 16); as well as the completed final code

@@phoebelin8706 it's been a month so I cant remember well but I think I skipped to the next lesson and checked the code there. I believe the working code ended up being different then this lesson but not 100%

I disagree. I loved this "game tutorial cutscene"-like style of teaching. It's so unusual, yet as educational as it could be with a microphone/camera/production team, but cheaper, easier to grasp and stylish. I vote to keep this video style.
