I take your point but if you've watched how these teams have played this post season, saying Dallas had no chance is not only oversimplifying it, but doesn't pass the eye test. Nick’s acting like winning game 4 after falling into a 3-0 hole is the same as losing game 4 after falling into a 2-1 hole. Not all 3-1 deficits are created equal. It’s not like teams facing a 3-0 deficit have never won game 4, game 5, or even game 6. But no team has ever won 4 straight to complete a series comeback. It may happen at some point, even in this series (I highly doubt it), but Nick’s being facetious arguing that the 3-1 deficit Dallas would find themselves in if they win tonight is the same as every other 3-1 deficit in NBA history (particularly the few that have been overcome). It’s not a math issue, it’s a history issue.

As a Mavericks fan, I really think we need a big man that can shut down the paint on the defensive side. Jason Kidd is definitely our coach going forward. Our paint defense is terrible. We should keep Kleber, drop Powell, and look for a lockdown defensive big man. Myles Turner or Rudy Gobert comes to my mind first.
