of the younger basso, certainly one of the best. Lucas Lemke reminds me a little of Laszlo Polgar.

Wow! Very well sung, even though the bar is lower with 'just' the piano accompaniment. Just being picky, because of the high quality offered: "Doch sollTen sie zur Grabe gehen": it is a subjunctive, because the object is an (unwanted) possibility. Bravo!!

Dear Lukas, I don’t know you personally. I wish I would some day. Let me tell you that this day has been a very great day for me as I have had the pleasure to listen to you in the famous « O Isis und Osiris » from Mozart’s Zauberflöte and other pieces of vocal music. I was, and I still am, under the spell of your splendid, your magnificient voice of basso profundo. That’s a gift from God, some people would say, from Nature, other would retort (Dankeschön Mutti und Vati!). As for me, I just say that you are the most beautiful voice I have heard from a young talent like you. May you have a splendid career ! You have all that is needed for that. I will follow the artistic path that will be your own and welcome all your future recordings and appearances on KZbin and elsewhere. Thank you very very much, Lukas. Lots of love. Just wow! What terrific consistency throughout range. You've got the buzz going all the time, nothing swallowed, but each vowel on each pitch finds the right resonators to give space and ease to the tone, including the final low F. I would pay money to listen to this bass any day.
