Lukas Nelson has joined his friends who are quite talented...and have more of a blue grass sound. Lukas can sing blues, rock & roll, jazz, he plays classical piano! Now blue grass. He's still having fun! Running Shine is a favorite of mine by Lukas Nelson. ❤❤❤❤❤ He's still having fun! The McCourys are great too! 😂

The Bluegrass/Country lineage of this combination is amazing - instrumentals, performance, songwriting, vocals! They've got Bob Wills and Bill Monroe heritage influences right there.

This is one of my favorites. My Great Uncle who was born in the 1870's told me stories of "Running Shine" with horse drawn wagon between North Carolina & Tennessee as a young man. I loved it when POTR did it, but it is much more suited to a Bluegrass format. I am really loving this new partnership between Lukas & The Traveling McCourys, I am really hoping they find their way to Oregon together soon.
