Slow banjo is my favorite way to play banjo. Fast banjo is great with fiddles or at a dance or to excite a crowd during a performance. But slow, measured controlled banjo is beautiful to hear and difficult to play. Thanks Lukas fot this tune.

That is some beautiful playing there! His control of dynamics really makes his banjo sing.

Very effective when he moves from the scoop at the end of Hard Times to vary his sound...

It adds so much depth, I can’t say I have seen any other banjo players with such dynamic control.

Love it when he starts playing clawhammer. Adds new dimension to it-and what he does with it so good! My new favorite version of Lost Gander.

Le emozioni per me non le smuovono gli iper-tecnici e i funambolici...Lukas Pool è un grande perchè, senza velocità, commuove! Continua così, complimenti!

That's what I say, reminds me of sittin with grampa on the porch in Kentucky listening to an old old story of somebody's life . Great banjo picking slow. I am attracted to that... Thankyou young man... I am buying me an open back and start pickin. Going to try metal, nylon, & guy strings and see what I like best. I might even start busking.. A fair amount of that going on here in my neck of the woods.. I have my acoustic guitar 🎸 but I need banjo to play slow and fast, and play old country gospel songs, & hymns at home and at small Bible study groups. God bless the world 🌎 Please give up water in the rivers all around the world 🌎. Good night ,, from brother Harvey.

Love the short neck on the banjo. Is that an A scale 22" neck? Who made your banjo? Sounds great.

I have only listened a few songs here and there on banjo and that in last two weeks or so. Lukas's sound is gripping. His holding style is like a guitarist. The banjo neck seems like a A-scale. Can anybody confirm if this is a 24" scale banjo?
