I saw Lukas in Copenhagen back in August of 2022. I took my other half as a surprise, she saw him live in the UK when he first started being known, she loved him. I was never a huge fan aside from a few songs from the Purple album (Love Someone, Lullaby). Didn't expect a huge amount as I'd not heard many of his songs. Holy shit. Was. I. wrong. I heard Happy Home, Lie, You're Not There and Not a Damn Thing Changed, for the very first time, live. Lump like a boulder in my throat, next to her, legitimately struggled not to just break down! I've never been hit with a wave of emotion like that before. Not a single note missed the entire damn evening, and there are some bloody tough ones! One of few artists that genuinely deserves his fame. Keep it up, we want another album!
