I HATE the way the writers ended this with them. It was just not right. Noah hardly had any screen time within the last month or two in the show. They should've left off on better terms. And when I mean better terms I mean they've should've been brought back together. UGH!!

ATWT was so disrespectful to Noah,Jake and Nuke fans for the last year of the show so it's no surprise they would screw up the end as well. What a slap in the face to this groundbreaking couple and the fans who supported this show. Luke and Noah should have reunited on the show before it ended and not have it implied they will get back together someday. That ending was not how we wanted to see Luke. Van did not even like it, he felt Nuke should be together as did Jake. Such a shame.

The writers gave Luke such a lame send off. They showed such a great lack of respect for the Noah character. After all the years we invested in the couple and the last months of the show was given to a new character at the sacrifice of one of the greatest love teams (Luke and Noah) in the history of daytime TV. Even Van Hansis has said that he was sorry that Luke and Noah didn't have a better end.

You know, I kind of think this scene IS a happy ending. I'm a huge Nuke shipper and I love them and what they had and I believe they are going to have it again. Like Noah said "One day" don't you think? Luke just needs to grief and sometimes they will get back together. Sadly we're not going to see it on the show but that doesn't mean it's not going to happen! ... Amen :D

luke and noah made each other's dreams come true. being with luke gave noah a family, the confidence to be who he really was, and the will to go out on his own with his filmmaking knowing that luke would come back to him one day. with noah, luke learned to be more happy and open after feeling alone for so long i'm going through so much in his life up to that point. noah gave him the courage to live with a a disability that could have been permanent, to start his foundation while also embracing every piece of who he was as well as his sexuality. they kept each other grounded and made each other feel safe. they just...brought out the best in each other even during their worst moments. and no writers could have ever taken that from us.

I loved their entire story (Okay, so I didn't jump from joy about the whole Reid thing) but this ending... seriously?? It didn't end anything for me!! Luke boarding a plane for L.A. would have been more fitting... Luckily I have a vivid imagination and literally started writing immediately after the show ended, so the network can just call me about the spin off and I'll give them material for the next few years ;)

not only that, the words coming out of Noah´s mouth were beyond ridiculous: "Reid is a hero", "all should be more like Reid", and the things about Luke... "you are not that lost kid on WOAK anymore". Seriously??!! Luke was very confident in the WOAK times, he wanted to be a writer, he was really motivated and very confident of his personality and sexuality and he spent a lot of time with his family, he supported and confided in them as well.

luke and noah forever!! the only reason nuke - and esp. noah - were thrown under bus during the last year was the (not so) new head writer that was hired in summer 2009 after killing the longest-running soap, guiding light. from day one, that guy only wanted to break nuke up and pimp his beloved dr. superhero. it was a total distortion and disrespect of luke's and noah's characters and yearslong history. noah went through hell after losing sight, and luke would NEVER have given up on him!

Reid and Luke made a great couple, they complemented each other and Reid was a fabulous character, he gave this Soap Opera a share of difference, brilliance and humor, I loved Lure more than Nuke because Reid apart from being very handsome was more man, more mature in his things and Noah was very self-absorbed and thought only of himself and he alienated Luke for that, apart from the fact that Luke and Reid together were totally hot, LuRe forever ❤

A beautiful love story was thrown under the bus only to pin a new character that was chosen by Goodman, the new head writer (who destroyed Guiding Light) and Pasanante. They thought they would gain a lot of viewers with this new character and close the soap in a high note with press and Emmys, but it totally bombed. They gained press but viewers were not increased, instead they lost loyal viewers and the Emmys was a flop. Procter & Gamble was very adamant to get rid of the gay story, they put a kissing ban on Nuke, but fans fought hard and made justice for the couple, but as a result, Nuke was shown less and less, their airtime was affected, and the writers were instructed to keep the couple appart. The final plot was really shity, they accomplished it by making a character regresion of Noah, out of the sudden we had Noah 2008 once again, but even worse, he was also mean towards Luke, then producers just sent Noah away, barely showed him anymore. They made Luke fall for a guy that was in his mid thirties which personality was very similar to damien (daddy issues anyone?) and forget all the things and promises he made to Noah when they were together. At the end P&G won, there was not more gay couple in the soap and in the process they pissed everybody. There were plans to make a Nuke series or a movie, but P&G didn´t rescind their rights. They didn´t want the brand being linked to the couple but they wouldn´t allow Nuke being on tv neither.

Yep, Dr. Prick didn't increase ratings AT ALL. Strange they did increase on Noah days. It's hard to think, but over the course of the last months Noah was barely on....neither was Luke. They L/R had NO relationship. They yelled at each other a lot. Reid, a 39 year old, sure wanted into that young things pants, and he wanted to keep L/N apart to get it. Gross. I think Luke would have hopped on that plane in about 2 weeks. Tops.

老實說雖然導演是說他們會在一起啦，但是我覺得他們最後根本就不會在一起好嗎...不過為了滿足粉絲而已。非得要讓三角關係裡面一個死掉才能搞定簡直老套到一個爆炸(但是這齣畢竟很老就算了...)而且他們的關係根本已經走到一個回不了頭的地方了好嗎?Noah永遠都會懷疑Luke愛誰比較深，當初Luke可是選了Reid。連我們不適合在一起都說出來，那跟去LA也沒什麼用啊...說到底也還是備胎。看到最後面的時候真心覺得編劇腦子進水，真要玩這套不如把Luke跟Reid配也就算了，所有人都能得到closure，現在這是啥鬼東西 I don't think they should be together at the end.
