Wow, some of you commentators need to grow an empathy bone. Brian is hurting and scared. Sure he hurt Lucinda (and Luke and Noah to a lesser degree), but he's hurting himself even more. Poor man needs love and concern.

Me too. I thought that was a very realistic thing for the writers to put in. Brian wasn't just attracted to Luke, he felt a real connection to him. The fact that he automatically felt that pull to respond to Luke's call at the door feels very right.

I love how Noah has now also become what he thought Luke was doing when he tried to hide who he was when he was with Maddie. I forget how he said it....but there was a mention that it was like some kind of cause and that he thought Luke was trying to get him to come out like he had done. Now Noah's doing it for Brian!

I think Brian really wants Luke, see how he reacts with him? I think he's sad cuz he knows that Luke doesnt want him, and of the fact that Luke and Noah are back together. If Noah wasnt in the room, Brian would of said something else....I wonder what? LOL

I agree. Noah has finally grown up. "You and Luke, you're back together? - yeah, and that's what you want? MORE THAN ANYTHING" We all know that they are going to have their problems, but FINALLY ATWT writers have given us a Gay couple that we can be proud of, that we can cheer on and respect. Where ever their storyline goes from here, we will ALL remember January 12th! The day when as Gay's we were ACKNOWLEDGED as humans that have a right to be in love.

I have to give the nod to Jo and Thore (Oliver and Christian). I just think their chemistry is more palpable--just seems real and comes through the screen. There just seems to be so much passion in every move/look/touch. But clearly, I give many props to Van and Jake for keeping it interesting and sweet. And you're right, they don't get much to work with in terms of opportunities to burn up the screen.

Laurence Lau is a soap opera vet. He was one half of a super couple (Greg and Jenny, All My Children) in the 80's. He can act! And Elizabeth Hubbard has always been one of the strongest actresses on this show. I love seeing Elizabeth, Laurence, Van, and Jake play this storyline. It's been a real strong one.

I'm a sucker for drama, I love it! Although sometimes it's a little too much but I was looking forward to a suicide attempt. Poor Brian, he's very weak minded, he needs help.
