extramedium1 - Music is a highly personal taste, but speaking objectively for a moment, Luke is quite talented. He’s produced seven No. 1 singles on only two albums, and he has won multiple ‘Artist of the Year’ awards. Admittedly, this wasn’t his best material, but if you check out some of his other songs - especially “Hurricane", "When It Rains It Pours", "One Number Away", "She Got the Best of Me", "Beautiful Crazy" - I think your opinion might change. Fantastic live performer, terrible mix.... I often feel that the sound crew for SNL don’t have nearly enough experience mixing a full live band, rock artists or anyone that doesn’t have a pop sound. A country song about beer and heartbreak? That's new. Having said that, his band is absolutely amazing.

Super late to this but Kurt’s mixed just a little too high for comfort here for my ears. The guitars sound killer but they’re mixed a little odd. For a TV performance with 3 different guitars though, it’s a great mix. TV mixes are usually hot garbage

This is a high-key banger but I was hoping we'd hear Even Though I'm Leaving. Great party song but maybe not the best first impression for your typical SNL crowd yaknow?
