Fun fact, the stadium show in the video was Luke’s first stadium show and it was only fitting that it was at his alma mater. I’m a student at App State and I was at that concert. They packed Kidd Brewer Stadium with 40,000 plus. It was a great experience.

Quick backstory for y’all: the guy Adam played with Luke growing up in North Carolina. From what it seems is that Luke decided to go big with his career and Adam didn’t want that. He stayed back to live a normal life and raise a family and still plays music in local bars and clubs for extra money. So I’m the song Luke is saying I’d still be doing this if I wasn’t doing this. Meaning he’d live the life Adam is living if it wasn’t for being big like he is.
