I had surgery on my eyelid when I was around four. The only thing I remember now is getting to wear pirate pajamas with my eyepatch. Glad he's doing ok!

I had to have neck surgery when I was 2 years old, then when I was 13 I had ear surgery. It’s always scary and the look in my parents eyes is always fearful. But when it’s all over everything gets better, and the problems are fixed. Sending lots of love to your family.

I remember when I had to have (minor) surgery when I was a kid, and man was I SO groggy and disoriented when I woke up from anesthesia! I’ve been under general since then and it hasn’t messed me up nearly the way it did when I was little! Thank goodness everything when well and Luke’s all better now! It’s definitely hard when kids have medical stuff (even if it’s minor and not too scary)

Welcome back!! Luke had surgery? I hope it was not anything serious!! Thank you for posting. My son spent several days in Hospital at the age of 20 months, after reacting to a flu shot - this was in the middle of winter. He did not require surgery but his blood did need to be re-oxygenated again. It took 5 days before his blood finally got back up to a high level of oxygen again.

I know this was ages ago but my son almost had to have tear duct surgery also. The eye Dr made us do these warm compresses on his eye and the very uncomfortable pressing of his tear duct a few times a day for months and eventually it unplugged on its own. Glad the cutie is ok now and congrats on the twins
