Luke was a true performer full of raw talent. I love how he makes a mistake at 1.21, pulls a massive smile, and then just carries on. A true legend.

He looks straight to Ronnie as if to admit the mistake, Ronnie beamed back as if to say 'yeah fucked that one up'. Not a beat skipped and sounded even better than without a mistake. We will never see the like again.

You Irish folk just dont realise just how much your music is adored by us Brits, especially this Englishman, Hand Me Down My Bible was one of my first songs that got me attracted to Irish music and i havent looked back since, have so much material of Luke AND The Dubliners it is unreal, also a huge Foster & Allen, Fureys and Brendon Shine fan

if you check out this songwirter on his facebook you will find a song in which he thianks on eor more native american tribe to send money in the 1840th. youtube seems to take some of his songs down and back up weekly. and I can´t rember the name of the song right now. thank you to the native american tribes who send help when the people where in deep trouble.

Luke kelly is hands down me favourite singer of all time.another legend who left us far too young.he was so passionate in his songs he threw his head back at top of his voice and gave it emotional feeling and he didn't have this for the song at the time he wouldn't sing it.with so many songs to choose from these ones will always stand out to me.raglan road scorn not his simplicity the town i loved so well foggy dew rocky road to Dublin and the springhill mine disaster and i could keep going for hours.rip luke

There's nothing like watching Luke Kelly. I discovered him thanks to KZbin. And I knew from the first notes he sang that the man was a legend in Irish folk music. It's nothing particular about the man...save his passion. Luke just knows how to sing the song the was meant to be performed. Others do it pretty. Luke did it correctly.

i love when bands like this sing gospel songs. todays christian music doesnt have the heart of these guys, take johnny cash and elvis for example. they sang from the heart and soul and thats why the old dudes like the dubliners are amazing and are definatley one of the greatest bands to ever live
