Revisiting 8 years later, I finally put my finger on why this Duke team was so underwhelming, even if it was obvious to others lol. With soooo many STUDS like Grayson Allen, Matt Jones, Frank Jackson, Amile Jefferson, Luke Kennard, Jayson Tatum, and Harry Giles, the team never found acknowledged the "Go-to" guy in the team's identity. The entire season was wrapped around Grayson, Jayson, and Harry, meanwhile Luke Kennard statistically and visually led the team the whole year, and it was never apparent to the rest.. DAMN I think about this team a lot.

if they recognized kennards importance at the time i think hed have been a much higher pick in the draft and probably a much more valued player than he is now
