I will never understand why the writers screwed L&L's relationship up. What they did to us loyal viewers who MADE General Hospital the success it became is just WRONG! They should have stayed together. When Tony decided to retire for good in 2015, he should have been killed off. I only say that because clearly Genie decided to stay. If she had wanted to retire, then send them off hand in hand. But it was unfair to all of us that they put him with Tracy, and had THEM walk off together!? I know genie is back, but I won't watch. If you were not around in 1979-early 80's when L&L happened please don't comment back to me (You don't get it ). For 30 million plus ppl, they were a HUGE part of our young lives. Until L&L not many teenagers watched soap operas, that was what your Grandma watched LOL. But Gloria Monty slowly pulled us in with Laura and Scotty (Yes, there was a time we rooted for Laura & Scotty, and hated Bobbie). When Luke showed up, we didn't think much of him (That first straight haircut did not help LOL). But they gave him a perm, and when Luke and Laura looked at eachother it was magic. Laura started having feelings for him just BEFORE she started working at the disco. It's hard to explain, but even many of our boyfriends raced home from school to watch them. Oh to go back.

Him being with Tracy makes no sense. TG always said Laura was Luke's humanity and that as long as Luke was breathing,one lung breathed for Laura.

This storyline was entertaining but considering what happened from 1996 to 2000, it doesn't make any sense.
