Beautiful. I have a SF/ASP version. I put in hilt LEDs, with a battle damage crystal reveal, And a photon blade. So when the blade is at its greenest, the crystal chamber is blue. It’s quite the effect.

Hi, I don't know if you can help me but I would like to know how to fix my lightsaber since a few days ago, I put my lightsaber on mute, and I didn't know how to put it back with volume, I tried all possible ways from holding down 0.1 sec until you see a flash, until you turn it off and on again... and nothing. I saw several videos on the internet and I ended up disassembling the complete laser sword, removing the battery, removing the memory card and putting it back in and now the laser sword does not turn on at all, it has no volume, no color or power... that these doing wrong? what do i have to do to fix it? have I broken it?

The grub screws are for blade retention and the pcb could be an extra clamp card, difficult to say since I can’t see it buddy

No buddy they don’t light up unfortunately but as a budget option it’s not really realistic to expect this

I just received my Obi Wan Kenobi xenopixel from Sabertheory, and I love it. It’s got a darkwolf Xenopixel v2 board inside. I’m not sure if I goofed something up when looking at the font folders from the SD Card, but I have a problem now where when I fire up the saber, the first font loads fine, but as soon as I try to cycle to the next font using the motion twist, the saber crashes and powers off, and I have to turn it on again manually (twist on doesn’t work). Funny thing is if I don’t use the motion twist, but hold down the power button, I can cycle through the fonts and the saber doesn’t crash. It only seems to crash in the scenario where I initially power on the saber, and then try to cycle to the second font via the twist motion. I went back deleted any config files inside all the font folders, and the config.ini in “set” doesn’t appear to be messed up either. If you have any idea how I can potentially fix this, please let me know! I just got this saber after waiting 1.5 months, and I’m a little bummed that I ran into this issue. Thanks a bunch!! I’ll also add that on occasion (not every time), if I cycle out of the first font by holding down the power button (not using the motion twist), then sometimes I’m able to use the motion twist to cycle through the remaining fonts, but when it wraps back around to the 1st font, it will crash again.

It’s does buddy. If you point the hilt up and twist clockwise then anti clockwise it’ll play music, do the same again to stop the music. If you do it the opposite way I will turn the saber off and on

Hello I asked padawan outpost what charger I should use for charging a saber but they said that u should use maximum 5v and 1 A but every other saber content creator said 2A

Well the reason I say 2A is because it’s really the 18650 cell that’s taking the power draw. I worked in the vape industry for 6 years with these batteries and always recommend 2A or less and have never had an issue. Even the USB ports I charge from on my pc are 2A so you’ll be fine. They may just be a little cautious that’s all.

Sabers should come with chargers buddy but if you’re looking for an external charger then a nitecore charger for 18650 batteries is my recommendation

@@reflextaze419 so the charger i have is a 5V 2amp charger and that works totally fine. The maximum charge the battery will hold is 4.2V. The 5v rating just means that up to 5v can be drawn, the battery s protected though (or should be a protected cell) so it will only draw and discharge up to a certain point

Brilliant looks excellent! I just got my first last week after watching your videos for a while! So cheers for the advice and knowledge. Picked up the, what is now the Ben 1 Xenopixel from Padawan Outpost. Had a different code when I ordered. It requires a bit more work to get to the SD card. On mine there is a connection, part the way up like the blade connection so you can slide the board all the way out. Really impressed with it and it’s obviously pretty similar to this. One other thought, did you ever do a sound font with the Scottish Star Wars theme you have at the end of your videos? Being Scottish too, I’d love to get it on the saber. Keep up the great content!👍

They’re meant to be looseish, you can get a little double sided tape to hold it if it’s excessively loose. I’m sure they come with that already under the clamp card

Padawan outpost are imo the number 1 reseller of LGT sabers on the planet buddy & they’re based in London too, fantastic couple that run the company! They are extremely reliable and trust worthy. As for charging, you can charge from the wall if you have a plug that is 2amps or less, any more than 2amps will damage the battery and potentially the board too, either that or charge it from a pc, games console, laptop etc OR buy a 18650 external charger. I heard some people say that the thin neck sabers wobble a bit because the blade isn’t far in, is that the case with yours?

Thanks for the video mate - I have the LS1 Proffie from Padawan outpost, looking to buy another but I was just wondering whether you’d recommend Xenopixel over proffie? It seems to me that it’s a lot more customisable without having to access the SD card, am I right? I love my saber but it seems to be a lot more one dimensional, I’d love to have access to gesture controls, way more fonts etc. Even the instructions breakdown on Padawan Outpost (proffie vs Xeno) are a lot more in depth on the Xeno side of things, if that makes sense? Any advice would be massively appreciated mate, just subbed and look forward to more content going forward, cheers

Xeno is definitely feature packed, able to add sound fonts and is updateable BUT you are still limited to what’s already there, unless updated bring other blade styles etc which they have done recently. If you’re looking for total control then I’d always recommend proffie 🤘

Hey! Just got this, and having a small problem. 3 out of 4 screws around the blade seems to fit. This resulting the blade to wiggle and feel loose. The screws are "eating" more and more into the blade. Any tips? :) Its my first saber ever, just the same in this video.

So take them all out and tighten 1 down first, that will secure the blade against one side, then do the other 4. Don’t over tighten them though. As for the wiggle, that’s normal to an extent with thin necked sabers due to the shallow blade depth but it shouldn’t be excessive

They’re the same prices as the manufacturer, they are running a business with 5 members of staff and a commercial premises, with high taxes to pay in the uk so do your homework before you throw accusations around. Also, as for a ROTJ sound font, that’s up to the manufacturer, not padawan outpost.

I have a Xenopixel version of this one called the Revanent 2.0, the only difference is mine lacks the control box which is a huge let down but all in all I'm really happy with it. Great review man 🤘🐺
