MCR123321 all we wanted was for Disney to pass the torch in a way old fans would like but ...... oh well 😔. I could have accepted TLJ as a bad star wars movie if they wouldn't have done Luke and Snoke so badly...but TLJ is much worse than a bad movie.... it's something else entirely. I'm not gonna say it ruined what came before it but it definitely ruined the current trilogy and gave episode 9 a zero percent chance of being any good or making any sense. I'll always love star wars though I just choose to see this trilogy as some horrible fanfiction and think of the legends as real cannon

Sure he would get discouraged in the OT, but he always carried on in spite of incredible odds (his attempt to rescue his friends in Empire without complete training). Yeah Luke could lose his temper, but he never left his friends high and dry. TLJ made Luke a jerk who caused Kylo Ren and then run off and let everyone else deal with it. 🤨

It's what we should have gotten. Han shouldn't have died - hell, he never should have left Leia and his position as a general to return to a life of crime and lying - Rey should have just been a pilot and mechanic, Luke should have trained Finn, Palpatine should have stayed dead, we should have had Luke, Han, and Leia together again; I'm just so hurt by the sequels :(

If any of you have every tried stop motions you would know the insane amount of effort and time that goes into this. If you’re hating on it honestly try it yourself. This shits hard. Each movement frame by frame by frame. lighting scenes needs to be perfect. Lighting needs to be edited in each step needs to be moved the perfect amount. Crazy hard. 6 hours of work can be 60 seconds.

YES! This fits perfectly with the story! It's canon in my book lol. Loved the silhouette effect! Camera moving with the characters always makes the scene more epic. How did you light the sabers? It seemed to be lit in the shot and not an added effect post production.

The Lightsabers are real products available from some Japanese retailers like AmiAmi. They are under a line called MSG Modelling Support goods by Kotobukiya. The handle has a coloured LED in it and there a choice of blades to attach. They are listed as a 'Gimmick unit LED sword'. Happy shopping. I have one of each myself.
