Dear Marion💙 Thank you for the explanation about Mary still needing a Saviour. The first part of my journey was being baptised in the catholic church and also taking my first holy communion. My Dad came from County Clare in Ireland.Dad's Mum was a devout Catholic. Really appreciate your understanding of the Bible, the word of God so much. Giving thanks to the Lord for our wonderful Bible teacher, Marion Field. Hallelujah 🎶🎶🎶

Yes, once we start reading the Holy Bible, page-by-page, the stories/accounts we know and love come alive due to following the sequence of events along with the added detail - it really is gripping, and fascinating, and exciting! If one isn't a big reader (like I seriously wasn't), it can seem somewhat daunting, but it's the starting that's important (the momentum "kicks in" and the interest/excitement grows)!

Bien le bonjour Marion! Yes, the Holy Family followed still the law until Jésus went to the cross. Jésus fought against legalism especially against the pharysees and the saducees. The law is now in the heart. As a naturopath I read with a special interest Leveticus teaching the rules of hygiene and health. Surely a new mother has to watch to come back to her hormonal balance. The number of days for cleansing in regard to new born, boys or girls, doesn't t matter. Women were considered unclean from birth because of their cycles. It was precaution and prevention and birth control😉 The Bible is our GPS. Therefore we need It the whole life. I ve never wanted to go for the reading in a year. It s not in the Word. Each one has to chose their pace of meditating. And if not read to the end what has touched the heart was what the one needed. Blessings!

Dear Marion, Are you able to talk about the difference between a Messianic Jewish believer and a Christian believer. I have just been reading a book by one of Bob Dylan's close friends called Louie Kemp, who has returned to Israel 🇮🇱 Aliyah. Just returned over the last 4 months. Praise the Lord. Please do not worry if this is too complicated a subject. I know that the Lord is so pleased to see his people return to Israel 🇮🇱. Amen 🙏 🇮🇱🙏

Regards reading the Bible in a year…what do you recommend in how to start this? Just start in Genesis and plow through? And what Bible translation would you recommend?
@LydiaKolbe-hd5ml3 күн бұрын
Hi Charles! Some recommend to start with John. Some with proverbs..If you start with the Old Testament it may become heavy because of genealogy for example. JOHN recalls the beginning..I am French and got first in the Catholic Church no bible study but some parts of chapters read during the service. The King James version was offered to me by a US friend and she said to start with proverbs. Short..easy..wisdom. I loved it. Have a Spirit blessed choice!

Like Augustine, Luther saw an unbreakable link between Mary's divine maternity, perpetual virginity and Immaculate Conception. Although his formulation of the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception was not clear-cut, he held that her soul was devoid of sin from the beginning: *_"But the other conception, namely the infusion of the soul, it is piously and suitably believed, was without any sin, so that while the soul was being infused, she would at the same time be cleansed from original sin and adorned with the gifts of God to receive the holy soul thus infused. And thus, in the very moment in which she began to live, she was without all sin..."_* - Martin Luther, Weimar edition of Martin Luther's Works, English translation edited by J. Pelikan [Concordia: St. Louis], Volume 4, 694. Luke 1:47 - Mary calls God her Savior. Mary needed a Savior as much as the rest of humanity.
