I have a 5700xt and a 3800x with just 16gb of ram on an m.2 and I get maybe 120 max ranges from 100-120 finally hardware is catching up with this game

@@kerjo7483 haha no.. its impossible.. before my ryzen 5 3600 I had a i7 4770, at the the time a ok processor but like 30-40 fps in KOTH. Now with the ryzen i got like 60fps outside combat zone of KOTH, but stil 30-40fps lmao.. so yeh kinda weird, if he means singleplayer arma 3 with 100+fps thats obviously do able..

Also the point in the video where you said you have a habit of constantly reloading when your mag inst even empty that was the first thing I noticed when I found your channel 😂. For me I always conserve my ammo I dont reload unless my mag isnt empty thats one thing arma thought me is to conserve ammo 😂😂😂

King of the hill is just a game mode on some servers, you shouldn't need any mods for vanilla king of the hill. Just open up the Arma 3 launcher, go to servers, and search KOTH or king of the hill and you'll find heaps!!

Also, there is most likely mods you’ll have to get. But it also tells you what you need to download or have it still go through, some people get confused with that menu when you launch into a server

do you have an insane pc or how do you get such smooth FPS? I would be able to enjoy the game a lot better with higher FPS and my PC is a pretty decent one, but with settings lowered quite a bit the FPS still drops a lot when certain things are going on or when areas have lots of action

Hello Hayden. Putting object quality low and changing scene complexity from 400000 to 100000 increased my fps a lot. I can literally maintain 60fps on king of hill right now. Hope this works for you too mate.

Hey dude. My PC Spec: CPU = i7 4790k 4GHz, 16GB RAM, GPU = Nvidia 980 Ti, Creative sound blaster Z, SSD drive for games and windows and 2 HDDs in RAID for recording. I also have 144Hz monitor, which is 24" with 1920x1080 resolution, Corsair K95 RGB keyboard, Logitech G502 RGB mouse and a steelseries QCK mouse mat. The PC is powered by a Corsair 850w power supply and the CPU is cooled by a Corsair H80i. Operating system is Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit. I built the system myself a few years ago so the parts are not available new anymore. Arma is mostly about single core clock speed rather than number of cores, fast RAM and running Windows and Arma from an SSD or faster helps too. Graphics cards aren’t as important for Arma as they are for other games, but you still need a good GFX card and anything better will still help a little. A modern equivalent CPU would be an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X. I’m not sure what the modern Nvidia equivalent would be without further research, but it will be a little more expensive I believe. The Ryzen 7 2700X is better than my CPU in applications that make use of the multiple cores, but in Arma I would guess it’s about the same as mine maybe a little faster. That CPU does require a 120mm all-in-one liquid cooler though. I would recommend 16GB (2x8) 32,00MHz DDR4 RAM or 32GB if recording (maybe streaming) gameplay in high quality. Graphics card would be AMD RX Vega 56 or the slightly better Nvidia RTX 2060-6GB. They would probably give the same fps in Arma, but in most other games I think the 2060 would be better. There may be some slightly better AMD cards to consider too. The recommended drive for Windows and Arma would be a 500GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus, but it requires the right kind off interface on the motherboard ‘M.2 NVMe’. That would be faster than my SSD, but it’s very much worth it. I’ve built a couple of systems for friends that had M.2 drives and they’re very fast. At least a 550w psu would be recommended for that system, ideally a little higher wattage to help keep the internal temperature down. I hope this helps. :)

Left shift + minus key on the number pad simultaneously then type flush. This can also help with frames. It flushes the saved vram that is no longer being used and allows the game to utilize it again.

I have played the v14 update and I like it. The spawn truck is a great idea in my opinion and I always thought that the Navid and SPMG should not be allowed suppressors. I'm not too sure about some of the vehicle skin colours that are available though, haha. Although, of course it is better to be able to choose the car skin, for sure. I'm also not too sure about the Titan launcher being on Infantry servers in the tower weapon spawns. But, overall I think it's a good update and definitely a step in the direction of keeping koth up to date. I hear some people are getting major frame rate issues though and I thought the frame rate overall seemed a little slower than v13, but I've not played enough to know for sure.

Haha. Yeah, it can be a bit tricky to get a half decent frame rate in Arma 3 and king of the hill really pushes the Arma engine. I've got a video in which I talk about how each setting affects the frame rate, it's a bit old now and I'll be doing another one soon, but the settings I use now are pretty much the same as in this video except I use 1440p now instead of 1080 and I have shadows on high instead of off: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqKyZXVsi9GlgJI&t

Probably best to start with the campaign just so you can learn all of the controlls once you learned all fo the diffrent key binds and know how to handle your self in combat then go hop in mutliplayer anyway hope this helps

Just don’t use rockets, use the basic 5.56 weapon you start with. And just hide around in the zone and get in the priority zone to make money. Put your gun on auto and just utilize your 3rd person to check your angles, sit around and wait in building because people are always coming In so get your zone and just cover it and stay in the priority zone I did that until I saved 200k, spent 100k on the 3rd slot and just rent guns until you get money to get a good gun but still be “cheap” so you don’t go broke if you keep dying
