And when Ryleigh asked about what the cook put on the potatoes while cooking, he mentioned 'serbuk roti,' which is bread crumbs. The food that looks like a crepe is called 'apam balik.' Langkawi is facing tourist issue at the moment. Quite unsure what is happening in details but it used (2022) to be full of tourist. Lots of cafe also are closing down. Reason could be the neighboring country offer much more cheaper accommodations, foods, etc. Thank you for coming to Langkawi to keep the tourism economy there alive! And you pronounced it right for "Kuah". Enjoying your vlog mate!

Maha tower name came from the legend of Mahsuri. She was stabbed n died in Langkawi bcz of some rumors the village said about her. She curse the whole village n Langkawi Island bcz of it n the curse has something to do about 7th generation ( correct me if am wrong) or something so basically her story has always been an important part in Langkawi Island.

The turtle and the fish didn't scared of people because they used to people feeding them .... You pronounce "Kuah" is right... as it supposed to be... The Maha Tower is taken by the name of a local legend "Mahsuri". There's a story of a girl name Mahsuri whom had been wrongly accused for adultery and sentenced to death. It's said that she cursed the island for 7 descendents. The island is actually remain like desert for 7 descendents but after the cursed over, Langkawi starts to emerge and become a tourist spot. Most people go to Langkawi to shop because it has duty free shops so you can buy chocolates, kitchenette, some other stuff with cheaper price definitely.... As for the Ramly Burger, you should try to search for a decent stall at the street and ask for "double special with cheese"... you'll be satisfied... night market version is different....
