Hey Luke, you can go to the nether, just make a bucket and get water in the bucket, then place the water over the lava and it makes obsidian, With your dimond pickaxe you can mine the obsidian but it takes a few seconds. After you have more than 14 you can build the nether portal and you need flint and steel to light it up ( you need iron and flint from gravel and sometimes have to mine the gravel SO much times)

You should make some armor and you should make a bucket with iron and go to water, fill the bucket up with water and take it down to the cave and put it ON the lava and it will make obsidian. Be really careful when you mine it. You can ONLY mine it with a diamond pickaxe. Then you find gravel and get some flint. Then use an iron ingot and craft flint and steel. Then make a portal and go to the nether
