Luke, these kinds of videos are awesome. I personally think you should keep going with them.
@lactobacillusprime11 жыл бұрын
Luke, you going through the store and commenting on what you see is what it is all about. It's YOU in that environment that makes it fun to watch. It's like being in the store and seeing all those games and some of them at pretty decent prices. Even Book-off has a huge selection compared to what we can find in my neck of the woods. I bet Seb can vouch for that. Now that Orange GameCube, just wow!
@Polaventris11 жыл бұрын
Way better collection than we have here in Just Book Center. Mostly modern games + PS2 games mixed with GameCube and GBA games. Only used hardware they had was few used Vitas.

One of these opened up near me in Southern California about a year ago. Prices are on par with what you show. It's hit and miss on games. What's nice are accessories and books. I picked up some brand new hard cover strategy guides for $9 each there.

I was amused when you were looking at the Wii games, and Xenoblade is just sitting on the shelf. I haven't seen a copy of that on the shelf since it's release. Same with the Orange Cube. That thing would have people fighting over it here. Great vid, as usual!
@SakuraAvalon11 жыл бұрын
Well, in Japan it wasn't short printed, that's why.
@MrDjdecks11 жыл бұрын
Really? In the UK you can find Xenoblade all over the place used.

MrDjdecks yeah here in the states they made it only a limited amount and a gamestop exclusive game so you had to be real quick and its considered really rare here already

Good to see Gamecubes are so cheap over there too! There are some really interesting choices there, I spotted a couple of real gems like Sengoku Basara X. I'd say the shop has a better range of retro than 99% of game shops in the UK! Those bullet hells are well worth picking up and a good investment and getting that Zelda game in for what is essentially £6.50 is amazing!
@MetalTiger8811 жыл бұрын

So jealous of the price of that Gamecube stuff! A Gamecube here in Australia these days is about $150AUD (~¥12,000) and first party games like the Warioland you had goes for about $80 at the absolute cheapest (~¥6300). You can still pick up Super Mario Sunshine for about $60 though (~¥5000). But what floors me is the condition these games are in! Even the old stuff looks like its taken care of. Whereas, a lot of stuff in my country looks like it was owned by a dog who spent its life chewing the box.

These videos are always entertaining man =) I still enjoy them a whole lot, so I'll always watch and enjoy them, but at the same time, I totally understand if you don't always want to make them since you've been making them for years now, but that being said, they're still awesome =) That's a very good point you make about the new next gen consoles not being backward compatible, and trying to get the physical game software for the 360 and ps3 titles while you can. I've really never been a huge fan of dlc, and like you said, it seems like a lot of the older xbox and playstation games are going to only be available via download and for a price. Metal Slug XX is awesome for the PSP man, I've got it and it's a ton of fun, so I totally recommend that one. Great video Luke!

There are some in the U.S., one is even in my town. It's the closet to hard off we got. Layout is almost exactly the same. Amount of books, games, cds, movies and dvds is well balanced. Use to get the deals there until they hired knew staff who knew what most stuff was worth so prices went up. Got my super famicom boxed with two controllers and cart converter for snes games and street fighter 2 and super street fighter 2 for $50 there.
