I believe more people should go for the monster Hunter genre than there is currently. I absolutely love monster Hunter specifically because I am a monster fanatic love the designs and looks of the. What I detest in monster Hunter is the stiffness of the combat. If a game can give me the same awesome designs and concept of slaying these giant creatures with special abilities with a more fluid and robust combat, I think that would be awesome

WB is behaving like it is 2016 with the shit they think they can get away with... and it has more or less killed faith in their IPs... just look at what they did to Mortal Kombat 1. Out of touch, and a solid 5-10 years behind trends. The dudes literally asked for $10 dollars for a SINGLE fatality in a $70 dollar title. Then they have a hit like Hogwarts, and all sights seem to point to them going HARD into a live-service model for the IP. It just seems very apparent they are still playing catchup.

WB has been one of the worst of the worst big publishers for a long time now. Last time I played MKXL, it had a giant ad on the title screen for MK11...even though 11 was installed. That's enough for me, but requiring a connection for the Krypt and Practice mode progression, changing the actual $$$ store to screw over players right after reviews hit, DLC begs all over the game, etc etc etc? I just don't buy WB games anymore. They are saying the games are disposable with all the connection requirements, so I will take their word for it.

Contrary to your claims, Warner Bros. does indeed hold the rights to produce films based on 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord of the Rings.' Additionally, they retain the rights for any video games developed from these movies.

Please stop saying "vocal minority are against it", when it comes to justifying BS microtransactions for video games. That is lazy analysis, almost I would say shilling for the companies. Most of the time it's a minority of "whales" that justify putting bad monetization in games.

but they are right about that for the "common" player microtransactions is no big deal the amount of money gta is making from those are bigger than sales for the game and tencent makes billions from those as well face it they are here to stay

Unfortunately you'd be surprised at how much the average regular people spend on microtransactions. Coz I do agree that all it takes is a few big whales to make it worthwhile for most companies but the average people are chipping in a lot especially for example in mobile games and then for some of these microtransaction laden shooters like Fortnite and the young kids playing GTA buying shark cards with their parents money etc it ends up adding up in the end. Like for example FIFA (now EA FC) make like over a billion (1.6bn) in microtransactions every year from people buying FIFA points which is the in game currency that people basically use. It's wild. So unfortunately they end up being correct in the sense of it being a vocal minority because a lot of us are against micro transactions and don't buy or support these games but for a lot of people not in the gaming space or are just in it for content like streamers who play these games and spend money on these games they don't talk with their wallets so these companies continue to get money and will continue to keep chasing these live service trends until the metaphorical cow has no more milk.

And so true about new IP doing well. I think its also coz people are finally getting tired of the same old formulas so anytime a game brings something new to the table and is good it gets it's flowers. Coz every other studio is basically chasing shadows tryna recreate existing live service formulas in a market thats saturated. So even as myself as someone who only plays single player games i am able to see from the outside looking in that the live service multiplayer space is so saturated with the same games so the only ones that are doing well there are either established franchises or new titles that aren't just rinsing existing formulas. So innovation and creativity is getting rewarded thats why some titles still thrive amidst all that multiplayer chaos coz these titles are all competing for dwindling time. Coz i even gave the example when you guys discussed why games like Concord or Suicide Squad struggle (or are on course to struggle) against the old titles they are tryna dethrone coz if you aren't as good as the game you are competing against, most players will just stick to whatever game they've already sunk years and money into. The exact thing happened in the battle royale games craze. Great watch and listen as always 🫡👊🏿
