Can see the potential already. I grew up in Aspley. The building where Jaycar is was built by my Grandfather back in the 1950's. Great to see your not just knocking it down, but staying with the feel of the area.😊

what's the model of the paint sprayer you're using?

so glad you kept the hills hoist!! Shame about the brick but i will admit it came up a treat. What paint did you use on the gutters? Primer required?

Me too! We used exterior grade pre-primed dulux. The colour is known as "Monument" (ensuring on the paint can it can adhere to metal)

Did you scrape back & prepare the wood before painting- house, I mean. If no undercoat, how many laters of paint? Just curious?

Yes sanded and scraped any flaky/loose paint. Then dulux weathershield 2x Topcoats

Just wondering Luke if you do any sanding, priming or prep work before applying the paint? What kind of paint gun/pump do you use and how much did it cost? Have seen them at Bunnings and am thinking of getting one.

For this project we did scraping, sanding and then 2 topcoats of dulux weather shield. Inside we use Dulux 4 in 1 Prep then 2 Topcoats with Dulux Wash & Wear low sheen We used a Wagner Control Pro 350m. Best $1k I've ever spent - easily!

Hi I'm interested in doing similar work, are you a certified builder and if not how are you maintaining compliance with QBCC, whilst coordination trades, installing plumbing fixtures and doing works valued at over $3,300 (market quote price, not DIY price)?
