He was the absolute BEST. What a huge loss. Every note was perfectly placed and perfectly thought out and executed. Well studied, always served the song with his own flavor.

Metallica Black album came out in 1991 and the double CD by Guns n Roses and an album by Ozzy with No More Tears came out in 1991. I remember I graduated from HS in 1991, worked up in Alaska that summer, came back and crap like Nirvana was on the radio

if you feel - you were born into a wrong era then thumbs up for this golden classic... It's a soul - piercing ballad with peneterating lyrics and a dark wake-up call to witness our decaying corroded life.. Gives me goosebumps whenever I listen to this dark philosophical ballad.... Sometimes I wonder this song depicts the futility of the wasted - naked life we are leading in this ever - sinking planet Earth where our tears have turn to dust and all of us are lost in the time machine riding a wrecked carousel and sailing in the ship which forever more is leading us to the dark horizon which is getting bleaker as seconds drift past us and we are mere spectators in this stoned wilderness of pain..... This is for sure in my list of top 10 favourite heavy metal songs of all time.

Dee Snider was always one of the best singers in Metal. If you never heard WIDOWMAKER, go watch the video for "The Widowmaker" and then listen to the whole "Blood and Bullets" CD. I saw them on that tour, holy shit was he amazing at the club level. It was even heavier than Twisted Sister in a lot of ways.... if you can imagine that.... it was like a Stripped down, raw version of Twisted Sister.
