Absolutely stunning Louise, you have captured those beautiful places so well. I didn't realise it was easily (if you don't mind hills) walkable between the 2 sites. Thank you.
@SouthWestSundays2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Faith! I only just realised the other day that you can walk between the two too. I was really happy to discover that. I really loved that walk! Really hope to go back that way again now I have discovered it.

You've captured stunning views here Louise, surprised you were the only one at the top to capture them - they look irresistible and Durdle Door looks stunning, certainly worth the initial climb 😍.

Thank you Jesse! Yes, it was really special having the place to myself up the top there at such a busy time of day. I thought there might be a good few people up there. It was so relaxing! Yes, definitely worth the initial climb 🤗

Lovely video ! Thank you so much for making this. Brings back some great family memories. I have to add the water is absolutely FREEZING - even on a hot day. But the views and the scenery more than make up for it !

Thank you Alex! Oh I definitely have to try swimming there next time! It looked such a spectacular place to swim. I will brace myself for the freezing water! So pleased you enjoyed it and it brought back lovely family memories. 🤗

Thank you for doing this video. A while back I was going to attempt to walk from Lulworth to Durdle Door but couldn't get round to doing it. I'm so glad this video now exists as people who want to do this walk in the future now have an idea of what to expect along the way! Very surprised Durdle Door was quiet as compared to a couple of years ago it was packed. I thought it would have been busier at this time of year after that.

Thank you! Yes, I was surprised how quiet it was too given it was such a glorious sunny day in the height of summer. It was so lovely though to have that spot overlooking it from the coast path to myself for so long and even down below where the crowds were was not too crowded and there was lots of room in the car park both there and Lulworth Cove. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤗

Thank you Andrew! I loved it! Can’t wait to go back! I enjoyed watching it back this morning as we have rain and wind here today! Thanks so much for joining the Facebook group - great to have you in it. Thanks for saying about the editing. Until a couple of weeks ago I edited everything on my phone with iMovie , but storage space was becoming an issue. I tried Lightworks free editor last week which was really good but too heavy for my laptop. It kept crashing. Now I am using Videoproc which is also free and much lighter. Thanks so much for watching, joining and commenting ☀️

@@SouthWestSundays I use iMovie as well,, I’m totally stupid with technology,,
@SouthWestSundays2 жыл бұрын
Oh me too Andrew! A lot of techy stuff sends my brain to mush! 😂 I really wanted to use iMovie on the laptop but it’s too old to download it, so I had to use something else. Videoproc has more similarities to IMovie than Lightworks does, but it’s taking a while to get my head around it as I loved iMovie on the phone. They (videoproc) have some really good, short tutorials on KZbin about videoproc. Since starting KZbin I have learned so much about computers and how to use them. We never learned about computers or tech when I was in school 😂

Wonderful Louise.🚣♀🏊♀🏖😊 I love your style and the different views that we don't normally see in photos. So nice to see the blue sky, sparkling sea and happy people swimming and sunbathing. I bet the bus trip was enjoyable too. Next time on a train don't forget to mind the Durdle Doors! :)
@SouthWestSundays2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Cathy! Yes, the bus trip was really enjoyable and very scenic in places. I am hoping to create a short video of it from my footage. Yes, that blue sky and sparkling water were glorious! I would love to swap it for todays weather which is wind and rain here in the South West. Love that about the train!! I will remember that 😆

Another terrific video Louise! Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are stunning places aren't they? I like how you choose that higher vantage point from the upper footpath, away from the crowds, but better views too. You had fabulous weather too. Great work! 👍 Cheers, Paul 🙂
@SouthWestSundays2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Paul! Yes, they are both really stunning! I was blown away (thankfully not literally a it was such a calm day!) by the views, especially from the upper footpath. It was really special having it to myself for so long on such a gorgeous day! Thanks for your kid comments and for watching 🤗
