When I was child in the1960's, I stayed in a caravan above Durdle Door with my cousin and Aunt. There is a high cliff overlooking the beach. Your beautiful painting brought those memories to mind. Thank you for always being there to take me home to England for a short while. You are quite the therapist! ❤️

I have to paint this one. Like someone else has mentioned, we used to go camping there when I was a child. That was back in the early 70s. We'd emigrated to Australia by the mid-seventies. My husband and I went back there in 2015, and I was so happy to find at least one place from my childhood that hadn't changed dramatically. The one big change I noticed was that there is a stairway cut into the cliff where the picture is painted from. When I was a child, that beach was only accessible if you abseiled. I'm pretty sure my fear of cliffs and heights stems from being made to abseil down there on more than one occasion!

How wonderful it is to travel on a yacht on a cruise in France. If you have such an opportunity, then this is great luck and you are lucky, dear Jacqueline. This is probably an expensive tour for the price, because... You’ll probably go not alone, but with Jeremy, your daughters and son, right? Finally, you’ll see Paul in person, and not on video! I’m very happy for you and I hope that you’ll bring back a lot of unforgettable impressions and photographs from the cruise as a souvenir! Kisses and hugs!

You can see Portland from Durdle door on a clear day. Durdle door is also known as the Dorset dragon, when viewed from sea it looks like a dragon drinking. I'm very fortunate to live not far from here surrounded by the jurassic coast. Portland used to be shut off from the mainland quite frequently until recent years when they tried to create flood barriers

You could be a voice actor! I could go on but Margot probably would complain about your overly large head. lol. This painting is gorgeous and I love how you “tickled” in some color in the waves. Makes me want to try masking fluid again. But probably not. lol. 😂 I must come on the trip someday. I’d love to do the River cruise. 🙏🏻Praying for that to become a reality. Beautiful painting. I can’t wait to try it. I love the rock technique and seascapes. I live in Michigan in USA which is surrounded by the Great Lakes It has many beautiful miles of shoreline and picturesque painting adventures.

Stunning Paul. Wow. I love it. Infact I like your sky better. It matches the sand as well the Durdle Door better. This looks easy. But I am sure it's not. Loved your technique of creating texture with saran wrap. I do remember it from earlier videos. It's a wonder what such simple techniques can do. Thankyou , once again for a wonderful tutorial and painting. Just Superb. Have a wonderful week. 💯💖🙏
