Every hundred years, a comet appears in the skies above the Mushroom Kingdom. That comet was so large one year, it filled the skies and sent countless shooting stars raining down. The toads brought the shooting stars to the castle, where they became a great power star. It should have been a very happy time for the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom. That was the night of the Star Festival, held once every hundred years to celebrate the comet.

This truly is a masterpiece that makes me feel so many things. Sad, optimistic, amazed, melancholy, nostalgic, and when listening to it, it makes me think of so many things. Thinking back to 2011 when I bought my copy of Super Mario Galaxy with some birthday money I got when I was 7. Super Mario Galaxy was the first time a game truly amazed me, not my first game, but the one where so many things from the game shaped me into the artist I am today. In due time I'll be heading into the 11th grade by September and more then any of feeling this song gives me, it makes me reflect on how far I've come with everything regarding life. It's exciting thinking about the future, where I may go, people I might meet. But I'm always thankful for the memories I've had over the years. I've got a long road ahead, but with my passion to draw, I'll definitely how the motivation to do anything to conquer my dreams. Thank you @Guidosk for this amazing piece of music, keep up the fantastic work :)

Thank you so much for this. This reminds me of my childhood, and it reminds me of one of the most beautiful characters in fiction - Rosalina. I also have an unhealthy obsession with rain. I don't know why, but I never get a lullaby feel from the song. It's comforting, and cozy, sure, but it makes me wanna cry more than anything. The song to me feels way more somber and sad than comforting, but in that sadness lies a deep comfort, one you can't feel anywhere else but those depths the song pulls you into
