The issue with the petroleum boiler is that petroleum has higher specific heat than crude oil, so no matter how efficient the build is, there will be extra heat in the system, which translates to higher output temperature for the petroleum

Lot's of mistakes were made before it has gotten more stable. Most of the issues stem from me being to lazy to build a proper temperature management setup.

To cool down your water, you can have two aquatuners running constantly on supercoolant. The aquatuners produce enough heat to power three steam turbines and if you powerupgrade the steamturbines then this system is even selfpowering and you get unlimited and free cooling (except of course a little bit of refined metals and duplicant labour)

I enjoy this channel. The editing is important to keep the content moving, but I feel you might be a little too efficient. I have trouble following the plot when the camera bounces around in a string of cut takes. It would help if the camera simply panned instead. Keep up the great content. I love the theme of this play through.

Thanks for the feedback! This helps me improve :) I had the same feeling avout the pace this Episode. I hadn't recorded all important parts and had to patch some parts together. I also try to show (don't tell) so i tried to incooperate what i was talking about, but since i have like 3 different timelines in this video it was sometimes not possible to pan over because it hasn't been build yet. Hence the cuts. Next time i need to plan better while recording :D Sometimes it is just nice to play without thinking to much and then editing me is cursing at past me.

two suggestions: 1: If you have any issues with Hele staying in the toilet area after the cycle sensor is reached, Use mechanized airlocks to drop him to his room 2: Since you are on the inverted asteroid, there should be a sulfur geyser in the magma area. Maybe use this for backup power/heat for when the magma biome is gone.

1. Very cool Idea, happend once or twice i think i reduced the chsnce but it is still there so your solution is very much appreciated. 2. I have a (in magma submerged) sulfur geyser. The heat is not very useful though since it is only 160°C, if you are reffering to the use with a steam turbine or did you think of something different? Anyways: Thanks for the ideas! :) very cool

@@Luma_plays The sulfur geyser MIGHT be able to work with a steam turbine, But you may also want to tame sweetles in the future. Edit: bonus tip: What if Steakoo gets entombed? Continuously launch a rocket with rover modules, land those rovers, then land the rocket. The resources spent on the rover will be regained by deconstructing the rover lander and deconstruction the rover when it dies. PS: I heard that Co2 engines make more exhaust than it takes to refuel them, so this rocket would work: Solo spacefarer module, Rover modules, Co2 engine.
