I did in 2019. My left side Sciatic was also severed. My left leg died on me 😢 and my mental health deteriorated also. I truly believe both body and mind literally can fight each other. In the end your body wins. Tenfold. I was injured in my former workplace. My life blew up right before my eyes. And the denial I fought so harshly, due to not wanting to be injured. Was life changing. I am forever not the same pre-injury. At 37 years old. I still tear up about it all as well. 🥺❤️ Please look after yourself. Even when control is not 100% in your favour. You only have ONE spine: One body: One life. Cherish all of it. God bless.

I've just been to a&e and they said they suspect disc herniation. I'm only 29, but i have heds. This has been going on for years, but the last 6 months or so, it's been getting progressively worse. This last flare I'm currently in is hell on earth. I can't pick things up, moving is horrific pain, going to the toilet is nigh on impossible due to pain and struggling to relax, moving between positions (e.g. layong down to upright) is frankly appalling. The pain is so bad it's making me nauseated. I've had DDD queriered on a previous xray series in 2020 that was ignored by the doctor then. I'm hoping to get an mri booked in to look into it. The pain usually resolves with a popping of my back, or just randomly stops hurting within a couple of days. But this flare has been sooo many times worse than "normal". I'm already on a lot of painkillers due to the heds and my Crohn's, and my gp is reluctant to prescribe muscle relaxants due to CNS depression. I don't know what else to do, I'm at my wits end.

When I was 19.. I had a herniated disc over 40 years ago ..I had decompression by Dr.in one of the first that did micro surgery.. he was in Northern VA and had a total of 3 .Fast forward 10 years I was hit by a impared driver got a big mess in my lower back .I had a concussion about my worse ever..and I was having problem urinating crazy huh?..I couldnt stop throwing up and couldn't tinkle...my doctor said let's do a pregnancy test...I said it have to be the emaculate conception...he said he heard that one two many times to count...so yep I was 🤰 preggers...I swore he mixed up my blood with someone else 😂anyway my little head injury baby I swore was the flu..I struggled through because I wanted to give her every chance at a healthy birth..thank God for nurse friends willing to help a sister out and help me with cathing I ended up after getting baby to 6 months of breast feeding I had three ruptured disc and was in agony n could barely walk could tinkle on my own ..once they cathed me and got out 1500cc... I had the fusion and dynalock plates & screws no issue till this year im 65. I have to lift and turn 250 pounds of love hubby had two AVMs in his lower spine was evac to orlando has been bed bound unable to really move his legs since 2nd avm surgery 24 hrs after first...I hope you can explain that one day along with cardoequina?...we are tough old birds ..still above ground yay😅..Your so hood at explaining things ..I adore your channel💝🫶🌞

I need back surgery but I am so scared. I am tired of taking meds to help with pain and I am so tired of being in pain, I am so tired of not being able to walk long distances due to the pain.

I had a discectomy it was LIFE CHANGING in the best possible way. I was dragging my leg behind me for 6 months. I cried an hour after surgery from pure relief.

@@roamwithrachaelrmine was life changing also for nearly 20 years but then I had 3 compression fractures and I had an L4/5-S1 fusion and also a right scapular fusion & revision. My bone graft between my scapula and spine has cracked but surgeons are scared to do anything. My lower back is in horrific pain with leg pain now down both legs. My docs say the fractures are stable but after this last one I’m January, things have been much, much different and although I’ve lived with this injury for 24 years and things were tolerable up till the past few years when something has changed and this is becoming too much to tolerate anymore and I don’t know where to turn. I’ve always been an active person till the past couple years and I seldom step outside anymore and I’m only 58. Im too young to be an invalid but am scared that’s where I’m heading

My entire spine is herniated bulging & my neck (which had fracture) is so bad bone spurs all around that doc said any impact could paralyze me. Oh & scoliosis. Iam in agony now from fall felt my lower back blow & hip crack. So far treatment is pain meds. Refuse Ortho (wanted surgery asap on neck) I left only a specialist like you. Have you ever treated a Post Polio patient?
