Nice demo Ed. I do like Lumbeat (I only have Soft Drummer for now) and I agree - these apps are a lot of fun and they sound great.

I'll try to include that in the future. Regarding your other questions, (1) I used the drum pattern from rock drummer with no modifications in the video, but I did change the sounds in on case (as noted). (2) Regarding the Lumbeat apps and how they vary in terms of kits and styles, they are quite different. The drum sounds are very specific to each genre/style. The drumming patterns are also quite specific - for example the AfroLatin Drum Machine has Son, Rumba, and Merengue beats, among others, and these all have distinctive rhythm patterns, Son being either 3-2 or 2-3 quite usually with a clave sound. I'm still learning about percussion, but you can check out the Lumbeat.com website and there's some very detailed information about the rhythm behind several of the apps - and its clearly been well researched, and I learned quite a bit from it. Thanks!

In your production do you use the drum beat as is from the app or you make it your own by modifying the beat and export the audio? please guide me.
