You are such hardworking and beautiful girls. I really hope you will always take care of yourselves. My grandfather was a carpenter and injured himself with a splinter in the nose. As a seasoned vet in hands being contaminated in solvents the best fix is to keep distilled white vinegar on hand. It not only counteracts solvents such as gas, kerosene, mineral spirits and many others but if you look on the label for uses, the #1 use is softens hands. I have had multiple ladies work in my business over the years and all would complain about the residual smell on hands til they tried the vinegar. After that it was a staple in the van.

Another great video today. Love seeing all of the positive energy. All you have to do to remove the gasoline smell is to wash your hands with Dawn Dish Soap. It literally dissolves the hydrocarbons. I use Dawn in place of hand cleaners. Works on grease of all kinds - even the blackest, grimiest grease. Sometimes I need a scotch brite sponge but it works.

@CGT802 жыл бұрын
Another person asked that in a video and they said they are real 2x4's and 2x6's. I'm wondering who the customers are. The building industry is standardized to nominal dimensions so it would cause issues all over the place. If they are working on old buildings with full size lumber, then it would make sense to match what is there.

A day without a breakdown or issue is in sleep dreams. Negatives happen to prove a lot was being accomplished. The mill doesn't break overnight does it! Okay, everything runs on gasoline motors. How much fuel do you use in an average busy day? Do you have a larger tank on sight to draw from?

If you remove and plug the bottom lubemizer nozzle with a 1/8" grease zerk and run diesel instead of WW fluid you will find your lube use will go way, way, down, you will have no pitch build up at all, and sawdust on the boards will be reduced to almost zero. Oh, and you won't have to worry about your hands smelling like gas if you keep grabbing broken bands with the idle wheel spinning like that.
