The greatest team of all time is the 1992 Dream Team. As the rest of the world was catching up to the US in terms of basketball talent, the US took advantage of a new rule allowing NBA players in the Olympics. 11 of the 12 players are in the HOF. They won every game by at least 32 points. Plus it was a very significant moment for the NBA in popularizing the sport both in the US and globally.

The team that came to mind first for me was the 1980 U.S. mens hockey team. Before they allowed NHL players to compete in the olympics so it was just a bunch of college kids taking on the worlds professionals

i’m a little triggered that no one went out the US and mention the invincibles, Arsenal F.C went unbeaten for an entire season (ended up with a 49 game winning streak) which no other team had ever done or been able to replicate since and ended the year with two trophies ( PL trophy and FA Cup) or Manchester United 1999 treble winning football team ( Champions League, FA Cup and Premier League), they were the the first team to win the three biggest trophies in a season.

for me it’s forsure the dodgers just all around. won the 2020 world series. beat the giants in the championship this year and almost made it to the world series this year. not only do we have good players like muncy, taylor etc. we also had Jackie Robinson who was the first african american baseball player in the MLB. so we changed history right there and we also have a great coach. can’t wait for next season! might be a little biased but that’s just me
