My vist to Lumbini was in 2016.The large garden and the birthplace of Buddha have been most impressive to me.But in my view this worldwide unique Holy Place deserve much more care in the surround of the wonderful Temples.Several places should kept more clean as well along the walk- and driveways.Even the village of Lumbibi should be created more friendly according to his unique meaningness.All this needs international support and efforts.

Buddhas was born in Lumbini, now in Nepal and he reached the enlightment in Bodhgaya, now in India! During Buddha’s time the indien continant was ruled by many Rajas or tribal lords . So if you guys and girls are proud of Buddha, than follow his teaching, which is love and commpasion and seek knowledge with wisdoms to eradicate the ignorance, which is the source of all evil thoughts and actions !!! India and Nepal would shine again, if cast system would be the thing of the past . If Nepal would ban the yearly animal sacrifices and instead celebrate the tradition by symbolic offerrings. I am sure that the Gods you want to honor by such rituals would be happy with such offerings! And the priests should be respected for their curage to change and advace a more loving environment for all living creatures!!!
