Hello everyone, FINALLY! After trying to complete editing this video for 5 consecutive days, LUMBINI episode is out! I had creative block and struggled with the story-line in the first couple of days while editing this. I had a full day on exploring Lumbini and I want to also share such story alongside with the actual Maya Devi Temple. Before traveling to Nepal, I didn't know that there is an actual birthplace of Buddha in Southern Nepal, close to India's border. Hope you enjoyed this episode and let me know what you think! Where to stay in Lumbini/Rummindei: www.booking.com/hotel/np/the-lumbini-village-lodge.html If you want to book Sagar's service as your tour guide: (Accessible via whatsapp) +9779807599697

Mustard Seed has special meaning to Buddhist as it relates to the teaching by the Buddha to the grieving mother who lost her son (died). A mother was crying inconsolably running and knocking each and every door with a dead body of her little son in her arm begging the people to revive her son from death. Finally, she met Buddha and requested him to save his son. Buddha can only revive her son to life if she manages to bring a seed of Mustard from a family who has never experience a death in their family. She knocked all the door in the town to see if she could get a seed of Mustard but turns out that there is not a single family who has not seen death and realized that it a natural process and she became nun and disciple of Buddha

Charging $500 for filming by a foreigner is basically looting. Every Tom, Dick, Harry these day shoot film with a camera. Even poor people have from developing countries have at least a camera. It is like killing the golden goose to grab all eggs at one go. As a Buddhist it pains me to see that greed is practiced at the holy site of Lumbini where Buddha taught the disciples the evils of greed.
@justhappenedtowalkby37096 жыл бұрын
US$500 is for special filming like documentary/movie etc which requires special arrangement from Temple management. For average Tom, Dick, Harry its Nepali rupee 500 which is equivalent to US$5 and US$20 for foreigners. Still very expensive tho.
