this looks very nice and would fit my space nicely. why do we keep pretending touch controls are good though? theyre awful. just put 2 little knobs on this thing and call it a day. the baseless one looks like it has buttons on it, but theyre on the pole that would be in a place i couldnt reach without getting up. maybe a bluetooth control knob would seal the deal for me or some way to control it better without having to get up or use touch controls which my cat would prob just step all over and constantly screw with lol

1) love the handle - classic SNL! 2) good feedback on the controls. Personally, I think having 2 or 3 presets and a dimmer would be nice, so I can default to the settings based on the situation.

@@Engearment its a funny name! my cats name too because im a child and thought it was hilarious. and a couple presets would help quite a bit. as long as theyre physical buttons and programmable. i guess there is always a smart plug & dimmable extension cord that could solve the problem of both turning on and off and dimming. if dimming cords can work with leds at least.

I have just ordered two different desk lamps and sent them back, they were not bright enough to see paperwork that was adjacent to me while I entered numbers for accounting. This lamp looks like it might be sufficient - can you give feedback on how it lit up the actual desk work area?

This one is actually very useful for illuminating the desk area. I did accounting for a few years as well. I think this will work well for you. Hope it does!
