Impressive endeavour, proud to be citizen of one of the participating countries. A shame that this could not include all the EU countries though! Yet again, the Europe I was thought as a kid is not delivering upon its potential... Whatever, the wheel spins and Europe missed another major opportunity. All to the benefit of the participating countries in the consortium :-)

The Chinese and Americans are investing why more into AI, quantum computer, robotics etc so first make companies who can actualy deliver before you proud

Molecular and drug design needs HPC systems. Protein folding is an active area of research and requires data intensive computations. In other words a better drug can be developed or we can understand the evolution of a biological system with the help simulations performed on HPC systems. Hope this helps.
