Motorhomers in the states use lumi-lights and funnily enough I was going to look into getting one. I love the idea that this one attracts the mosquitoes, perhaps they'd leave me alone for a change! Great video Phil as always - Lin xx

Hi, great subject. We’re off to the west coast of Scotland next week and have been researching this subject. Expecting to see a good few highland midges while we’re there. So we will be looking forward to your follow up. We have seen a USA product which gets rave reviews from the States, it is available in the UK. It’s powered by a gas flame, but is not to be used “indoors”. The product is called Thermocell, and is supposed to generate a 15ft insect free zone. A battery operated option is also on offer. Mind you, last trip to the west coast we used midgie coils, they were very effective...dead midgies all over the awning table next morning and not a bite on either of us. They were £3 for a pack of 10 in the site shop so that's a good deal too! Hope you're both well down there and had a good season :) J&P
