Not having Photoshop; I used Affinity Photo to make my own overlays - a very powerful, and inexpensive alternative for folks (not as inexpensive as free downloads :^) ).

Affinity Photo is the best Photoshop alternative! For some things I even like it better then photoshop:)

Always enjoy your tutorials, Skyler! Thanks for these colored overlays! At about 9:00 minutes in, you accidentally painted the subject's face instead of erasing. This is where I wish Skylum would give us an undo button. Seems like it would be a simple add-on. I have a question. On the gradient overlays, where it's darker on the bottom and lighter on top, is there a way to flip it vertically so the darker section is on top? Can Neo flip the overlay? Thanks!

Ups! I didn’t noticed that as I was filming:) . Yes, when you go to overlay layer property you can use the sign right underneath the blend mode to flip vertical or horizontal

Hi Skyler i download your free overlays than load them in luminar catalog with a picture to be edit but i know this when i click on the picture all of them don't show together. yours said "my images" on top of the flares layers. any reason why please?

The overlays you have to import into your layers in top left. . With your image that you want to edit open go to top left into layers, click plus button then load image. Add your overlay there from your computer. Then in order to apply it as an overlay layer double click on it. Please come back and let me know if it worked

@@minrorotololo yes. Overlay don’t go with the picture. They go in layers. From there you double click to bring them in into your edit photo. They stay in layers so you can use them over and over again
