I’m currently pregnant and would love to see what Lisa would recommend! I’ve had to quit using a lot of different skincare actives during my pregnancy and my skin has felt very different as a result. I have been lucky though, I haven’t had an increase of acne like some women do. I know every pregnant lady’s journey is different though. 💕

This was a lovely demonstration of the art of subtle makeup. All the small, layered steps on the eyes bringing out their beauty but not looking like much makeup was applied. Try thin layers of everything , using a small amount of product … and keep stepping back to see the whole face . you can always add more once you’ve finished the look but you may be pleasantly surprised at how effective thin layers can be ;) xx

May I suggest the best plain sunscreen for the face on the market at a wonderful price, that you’ll thank me for, especially with winter approaching and our skin will get more on the dry side. It’s the Hawaiian Tropics weightless sunscreen. It gives this beautiful glow to the skin while not looking and feeling greasy like so many do, hydrating amazingly, but it also works as a fantastic primer prior to applying makeup. I have used this for years after seeing all the celebrity makeup artists having this particular sunscreen for the face in their personal daily collection, men and women alike… and these people have access to the best of the best and even sell products with spf and still choose an $8 one for themselves and their family. A little goes a long way and you get a look very much like the Lancôme spf she showed here, but it hydrates so well, leaving a healthy plump skin as your canvas, whether worn alone or under makeup.

I have platinum silver hair, and when I decided to let my hair go silver during COVID, I discovered that suddenly I was more susceptible to sunburn on the part in my hair. I discovered a powdered hair sunscreen that I can simply dust onto my part, work it in with my fingers, and my scalp is protected from the sun! I’m in the US and found it at Ulta.

So many ideas here for waking up the older face, the one I liked was picking the perfect eyebrow color and laying it down lightly then brushing it. Looking at the before and after you can barely see a difference in the brows, but they have been enhanced. Great tutorial!

If you want a dupe for the Tatcha Silk Canvas, Hard Candy Smoothing hydrating called SOFT CANVAS primer in a container similar to the elf putty primer is spot on and they make a gripping primer that’s a dead on dupe also for the Milk Gripping Primer that is even more of a dupe than the Elf Jelly Primer people absolutely love for good reason. Both HC primers are $8.
