Um, I planned to write out Ypsilon tech here but uh. This man really, really did not want to cooperate for this video. I recorded so much to try to make the fight look as fancy as possible and this was the best I could get. I was also getting robbed with Aerial-1s quite a lot so eventually got irritated and just uploaded this.
I suppose the most flashy thing here is using the wheel's hitstop to react to the shield bash-uppercut chain and dash away with perfect execution. If you do it properly it looks like they move in sync but with like 2 inches in between each other. You have to react within 1 tick depending on range, and reacting on sound cues seems to be the most effective.
But then again, what's really in a run anyways?
I always sit here writing all this tech out, but who really cares? Not even just for a dead game like this, I mean. People see the video title 'no damage SSS rank' or whatever and just wanna see it done, don't they?
How many people are really combing through gameplay for nuance and finesse? How many really appreciate the amount of effort one puts into a run? For runs, content creators all title their videos more or less the same thing, but the amount of time we put into things is not the same.
Some things to think about while staring at videos of your favorite game or favorite person to watch. Not to be taken in a passive aggressive way or anything, mind you. I just spend a lot of time thinking about how users consume content, and how quantity in a high demand sector is always better than high quality in any sector. From a results perspective, of course.
Anyway, we are now in the last stretch of my short iX2 video series.
If you want to see more, you should probably make it known to me, because I'll probably just do the last couple of missions, and then DLC bosses and maybe eventually boss rush.
Then that'll be it. See me in GV3.

People care man and also these type of content is important. 90% of videos of every game with cool tech is full of people playing in the most uninteresting ways possible you have to take your sweet time to find a single dude with a distinct style like yours. I also play Monster Hunter and this also applies, I know very few channels (like just 2 for a billion dollar game) that actually play in the most insane, fun, interactive, high IQ way possible instead of just using a boring weapon and shooting to a still target with 0 gameplay involved. Like just getting the perma overdrive in IX2, mashing dash thru the stage in a straight line never bouncing, ignoring its design and also ignoring the whole breakshift tech you feature in your videos that makes this game insanely fun. Keep it up man, quality content needs to exist for games like this. Can't wait to watch your Ace tech video, I love that boss' openings.

Thanks. Definitely agree that KZbin is oversaturated with videos that aren't really interesting to watch. I hate to disappoint but I'm unsure if I'll get around to doing videos for the boss solo missions. I used those for practice mostly 🤔

Honestly. I'm here because 1. I would like to see more. and. 2: I want to see this Ypsilon fellow explode. His special move is really cool in all honesty, and I find it hilarious that out of everyone, you chose to do the ice lady. *Is there any specific reason why her?* And also, to counter that move of his, is it more or less optimal to clear out all the orbs? In any case, I enjoy reading the descriptions you write. I don't know if you'd do a casual playthrough, but if you did, I'd watch it all. Thanks for the uploads of this. It's been great!

I did Hail because Optic Barrier is easy to use here and because she's nice lol. If you full counter the orbs, the attack is underwhelming and he just does the big X wave 🤔
