It would have been good if you can receive a notification when motion is detected (Android)

I have mine connected through Aotec V3 Hub (Aeotec took over manufacturing of some Samsung Smartthings hardware). This provides notifications to my android phone, but these get silenced during DND/silence modes, so I use an app called Alertify to allow you to receive these notifications as notifications or 'alarm'. The latter means that whether I set any notifications I have downloaded from Zedge ("Kitchen motion", "motion in the garage", etc) or ones I create myself, these come through as alarms meaning I not only get woken up immediately but I am also instantly directed to where the potential threat is coming from. Changing the sensitivity of the motion sensor helps to reduce false alarms.

With any of the Philips Hue products, you need the Philips Hue Hub. You can usually get it free (or close to it) with a starter kit. Thank you for watching!
