To be honest, this L11 feels and look like it should have beed free update for L10 users, and not a complete new Lumion. I dont really get how they are developing this software so slow. Dont get me wrong, I love using Lumion, but come on, undo button, and more ability to customize each object from library would already be a nice touch. I can already see how L12 will get undk button and rhey will brag aboit it xD

And also, CHILL WITH CONSTANT ADDING OF NEW PLANTS, there is already a bunch, and if you use Lumion for architecture its already overkill. It would be nice if they focused on much more important stuff

I was really looking for three features 1- Raytracing 2- HDRI 3- Open street map with buildings texture . 4- Improvement in interior lighting .

Well, they did introduce some new Real Skies, I know it's not the same as your custom one, but helps a bit. The spotlight fine shadow really helps with interiors now. I wish they had put an even more complex shader tree, but I understand the reason for simplifying.

Hi Nuno! Great video introduction! You showed couple more of things that I wasn't aware that L11 was offering :) As I wrote in their official forum topic, it was somewhat underwhelming, its release. I expected a bit more, maybe even one more great feature, like upgraded water effects as well, similar to what they did with the fire. But I believe they will address that issue as well. I haven't started on any new project in L11 so far, so I would test its behavior in work. I just wanted to check the new features.. I will do some more interior renderings to check if it actually does them better (for me). And how about you? Are you satisfied? Is it what you expected, or you expected more? :)

Well, I'm always expecting more features hehe for example, I wish there was a more complex material editor, like a shader tree, but I understand the need to keep the software simple. As for interiors, I think this new Spotlights shadows will help achieving better realism, when done right. :)

It's not possible to create them in Lumion, but you can make this easily in post production.

Hi, that depends from scene to scene, to it's complexity. Lumion 10 probably renders slower because it has more features than Lumion 8.
