I dont know what they did with the Material Emmisivity. The material for glow effect is redudant. Do you know how to fix it

just copied and organized my Lumion 12 materials to 2023 Custom. Now that version 2023.1 has started, the conversion is running. I'm excited to see what comes of it. he has already rejected the high maps of the roof tiles. A few weeks ago, a test of the conversion was already running when it was started. I also had to click away the error messages.

Question, I stop using Lumion, 2 versions ago? Do realistic reflections still require you to establish a REFLECTION PLANE? I remember there were 10 per model. I use D5 because we make curved, intricate designs, and it's very impractical to complement reflections with the SPHERE reflection, especially if you make movements in the animation.

@Nuno very well explained the amazing features, I have a question does the graphic card plays an important role in quality and colors and effect, if i use a lower or older version of the graphic card will give the correct output

Slow graphics cards make your work very very slow. If you lower editor quality you cant see everything well and will have to wait for render, which will also be very slow.

I wish if they make live sync with 3ds max and importing materials from it in the model better than using lime exporter not working 100% on all the materials

Yes, but for now the new version of Lime works quite well. Now it supports the Normal map with this new Lumion version.

Hi Brad! On your Documents folder you have a folder called Lumion 10. Inside you will find your assets, Library and Materials. Just copy the content of those to the new Lumion folder, on your Documents as well.

great- there have been some difficulties with glass lately- especially the reflections. Would be nice if they change the texture saturation max. back to 200% also rather than 100%

Does anybody has the same problem of not having the colorization slider? I can only select the color but not the saturation of it ToT Any tips would be helpful because the older versions of Lumion seem to have it... (I have Lumion 2023)

hi nuno, what is the advantage of Importing lines and edges? In d5 render you can use raytracing with the outlines turn on but in lumion when you turn on the raytracing effect the outline effect automatically turns OFF.... so I don't understand the advantage of importing lines and edges....
