I will admit, A Poached Ego is one of my favorite episodes. As epic as it was seeing the trio willing to fight a TYRANITAR head on, it's also sad seeing Arbok and Weezing WANT to go help Jessie and James, but they know they have to lead the Ekans and Koffings away from the poacher. 2:07 Jort Island was originally meant to be a place in the Pokemon games. Route 9 was originally a water route that connected Vermillion City with Jort Island, and Route 10 was a water route that connected Jort Island with Celadon City. Rock Tunnel and the routes near it didn't exist. After you defeated the Vermillion Gym, your S. S. Ticket would be upgraded to allow you to go to Jort Island. However, the ship's engine breaks, and it needs to be fixed. After you defeat some Team Rocket grunts on Jort Island though, the ship's engine is fixed, allowing you to go to Celadon City. Also, the Fiery Cave is near Jort Island, where Moltres originally was found. This was originally going to be what happened inbetween the 3rd and 4th gyms in Kanto.
