Thanks for these tests. I am in the same boat, have a 4K and just got a S5II. I don't do professional work, just hobby/travel footage. Although a subjective question, is it pointless to keep the 4K along side the s5II or do you feel it "has a place" in your toolkit?

Glad you find them helpful. It's a tough choice tbh. I'm selling S5II actually. And 4K most probably. My intention is to get a 6K Pro as a workhorse camera for documentaries, corpos and personal narrative stuff and add Sony A7IV as a hybrid to step into Sony's ecosystem as it has a full spectrum of cameras you can grow up to. But in my opinion, I definitely love having 2 different cameras in my toolkit for a number of reasons and the most important one is inspiration. Sometimes I'm inspired to use one over the other and sometimes it's the opposite. And also I've tested them to guts lately and I know that one will do better than the other in different scenarios. And of course hybrids can shoot photos as well. But I really enjoy RAW for video, so I simply can't choose only one hah

@@BorisTheArtist Thanks for the insight and prompt reply. The P6K is nice camera overall, just a tad big for me and my minimalist travel style. I'll keep the S5II for sure because my last still camera was a Nikon D7000 and I got rid of it recently. The BMCC sale is tempting, but when I see the noise and banding, realize I have it better with the S5II and can always add a BMVA later if I want BRAW. I need to get out and shoot a bit more with my OG and 4K and decide if I need to fill that 4K "middle ground" or just sell it.

@@A388Flyer yeah, their FF is such a crippled camera, probably same electronics as 4K, but processor can't handle FF sensor. Regarding braw over HDMI, you need to try HDMI output on s5ii, the latency is unusable for me. One of the reasons I'm selling it. I kinda miss my OG, the size was amazing, the only thing it missed for me was 60 fps. I'm still choosing between multiple options. Neverending struggle haha

​@@BorisTheArtist Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if FF is just the original 4K platform with a few different parts, just like the car manufacturers do (ie. Toyota Camry was same platform as Lexus). But the FF is no Lexus!
