Lumix S5IIX. High ISO test

In my work, both in documentary and in advertising, I use high sensitivity. I often work at 4000 ISO (dual ISO - minimal impact on image quality compared to 640 ISO in V-Log). And even if I raise the ISO to 6400, it doesn't care about the quality drop at all.
When the Lumix S5IIX came into my hands, the matter was obvious. I want to test with different sensitivities.
In the video you will see both V-Log and CineD2. Sensitivity from ISO 4000 to 51200.
The Lumix S5IIX is a great camera for the documentary filmmaker. Although I admit that it worked great during the implementation of the ad, which you will soon see.
The card records ALL-Intra in 400 bitrate, 4K, 4:2:2 - like S1H. This is what, for example, Netflix needs to produce movies. The S5II does not have this on the card.
To an external ProRes SSD, e.g. 5.8K, 4:2:2, 1.6 Gbps (bitrate). On the Atomos Ninja external recorder, we can record in ProRes and ProRes RAW.
Blackmagic Assist - record BRAW (Blackmagic RAW).
Depending on the project, you can choose the best option for post-production.
I love working on full frame, thanks to which high sensitivities allow filming in difficult lighting conditions. The perfect solution for your document. In addition, bright lenses, such as 24mm f/1.8, 35mm f/1.8 or 50mm f/1.8.
During the Lumix S5IIX event and premiere in London, I had the pleasure of doing a short test of this camera at high sensitivities. In the video you will see the original shots straight from the camera. I recorded in V-Log and Cined2.
The video seen here was loaded by me from an exported Apple ProRes 422 file in 4K.

Uwielbiam pracować na pełnej klatce, dzięki czemu wysokie czułości pozwalają na realizację filmową w trudnych warunkach oświetleniowych. Idealne rozwiązanie do dokumentu. Do tego jasne obiektywy, jak 24mm f/1.8, 35mm f/1.8 czy 50mm f/1.8.
Podczas eventu i premiery Lumix S5IIX w Londynie, miałem przyjemność wykonać krótki test tego aparatu na wysokich czułościach. W filmie obejrzycie oryginalne ujęcia prosto z aparatu. Nagrywałem w V-Log oraz Cined2.
Film tutaj widziany został przeze mnie załadowany z wyeksportowanego pliku Apple ProRes 422 w 4K.

Certainly LOG has a greater spread and greater noise in the shadows. If you can't remove noise in the program with a special plugin, it's better to record in CineD. However, when you have large differences in lights, it is worth using LOG. I generally record in LOG, always.
