we are a group of 15 we all use apple airpods and connected using bluetooth and multi line phone calls ...and use our existing helmets that we love. no lost connection and high quality audio.

The ONE thing I wish this helmet offered is detachable sunglass shield. Having a hard time finding such a creation with MIPS. My cycling glasses resting on my nose have become an annoyance for rides longer than 2 hours.

Hey Vlad do you know if the break lights works with the app alone without the extra remote, I believe the extra remote only provides accelerometer right? I think Lumos should use the accelerometer on the Apple watch or phone instead of selling an extra remote for that alone. I bought mine on kickstarter, I'm not gonna lie Im pretty disappointed with Lumos there has been many many delays from June/July 2020 (delivery around Dec 2020)I still haven't received mine in April 2021 :/

Hey sorry I got to this late, I believe the auto brake lights only work with the extra remote and I’m not sure of the technology used behind it, accelerometer seems likely though. It would be a fantastic idea to use the accelerometer from the watch or paired smartphone to do that, but I’m not sure if they can implement that and or if it’s on their roadmap for future updates. Sorry you haven’t received yours yet. I do think it’s worth the wait though. Hope you get yours soon!

The right turn gesture is extremely confusing for other drivers, I wouldn't use it. Sticking with the remote.

Hey thanks for the question! The rear lights are visible in direct sunlight and harsh sun light. The front light is visible during the day light but not really during extreme harsh sunlight.

@@vlad.vision i dont care about the front on daylight,i care about the rear blinks during direct light,cause in Greece in my city,we have a lot of sunny days,which is the most use i bike,and stupid drivers,no bike roads and safety comes first,im in the Indiegogo campain and can wait for the april to come,and with your answer my anxiety about this went away,thanks mate, appreciate it ,and stay safe!!

Ignore my original comment below. I don't know how I came to the conclusion that the turn signals aren't included when he clearly shows that they exist. Brain fart on my part? I have the original kickstater Lumos and love it. Seems like they've produced another winning helmet.
