Do you want to satisfy your appetite with something healthy? In this two-in-one episode, I will demonstrate how to make the lumpia filling and the sweet sauce You can never go wrong with this dish. My fresh lumpia is great for an afternoon snack. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Lumpia Wrapper
* Fillings:
Garlic
Onions
Carrots
Sayote
Potatoes
Beans
Pepper
Fish Sauce
Shrimps
Kinchay
Singkamas
Fried Tofu
Repolyo
Sauce:
Soy Sauce
Water
Brown Sugar
Garlic
Peanut Butter
Cornstarch
Lettuce
Peanuts
Recipe:
Step 1 - Lumpia Filling
Heat oil in a pan. Sauté garlic, onions, carrots, sayote, potatoes, and Baguio beans in high heat.
Season with pepper and fish sauce.
Add shrimp for more taste.
Put in the kinchay for added flavor and aroma.
Add singkamas and fried tofu for added crunch.
Stir fry everything.
Add repolyo.
Adjust the seasoning. Put in pepper.
Step 2 - Sauce
In a pot, add soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, peanut butter, and cornstarch while stirring.
Bring to a boil.
Step 3 - Lumpia Wrapper
Lay the wrapper on a chopping board.
Add the lettuce.
Put the filling on the lettuce.
Fold the wrapper.
Step 4 - Put the sauce across the lumpia pieces. Add garlic.
Let the cooking do the talking!
